   First determine how much income your household is brining in each month. Next figure out what the monthly cost of your essentials are (needs vs wants) and allocate a budget for this. Take your income and subtract the cost of your essentials. Now take the balance of this amount and allocate it towards your wants. Don’t forget to allocate some money towards savings!
